ACADEMIC READING & WRITING ( What Is Love To You )

I don't pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me. love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person, love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of, love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weaknees when they walk into a room and smile at you. Love is that feeling you get when you meet the right person. This is how many people approach a relationship. Consciously or unconsciously, they believe love is a sensation (based on physical and emotional attraction) that magically, spontaneously generates when Mr. or Ms. Right appears. And just as easily, it can spontaneously degenerate when the magic "just isn't there" anymore. You fall in love, and you can fall out of it. Now that you're feeling so warmly toward the entire human race, how can you deepen your love for someone? The way God created us, actions affect our feelings most. For example, if you want to become more compassionate, thinking compassionate thoughts may be a start, but giving tzedaka (charity) will get you there. Likewise, the best way to feel loving is to be loving ― and that means giving. Because deep, intimate love emanates from knowledge and giving, it comes not overnight but over time.

4th Reflection

Watch the clip of LIFE WITHOUT LIMITATION. What was the message that the clip is depicting. Did the clip inspired you? If yes, why? and in what way? If no, why?

I had watched the clip of Life Without Limitation. The video message depicting the life of Nick Vojicic where he  doesn't have hands and legs. He is a disabled person. He told people that he faces his bitter life with happiness. He told people how many times he fell down but he never give up and always get up no matter what happen. He always keep thinking that he wouldn't go to University get a certificate or degree like the others, he couldn't do anything to success in his life but, miracle happen everywhere. He find the strength to be strong and think that he can do anything even without hands and legs as long as he want to and he never give up until he achieved what he wanted to do. Nick Vojicic says "i am happy living life".He shows us that he is a thankful person and never sigh for his lackness.

I said yes. Its really inspired me a lot. Make me realize that there is no reason for me to give up and live sadly in my life journey. Even fall down, always try to get up by our own without help or sympathy from others. Always thankful with what i have and what i'll do. The most important is, of course im gonna live my life happily like the others.
