ACADEMIC READING & WRITING ( Simple, Compound, Complex & Compoun-Complex )

~ Simple sentences ~ 
* Some students like to study in the mornings.
* Tampinai and Sagarau  play football every evening.
* Tintil goes to the library and studies every day.


~ Compound sentences ~
* I tried to speak Spanish and my friend tried to speak English.
* Geaorge Bush played football, so Obama went shopping.
* You can put wings on a pig, but you dont make it an eagle.


~ Complex ~
* Although I was scared, I carefully crossed the bridge.
* If we play our best, we will win the match.
* Because it was raining, Sameon put his hood up.


~ Compound-Complex ~
* If Barack Obama is the nominee for the democratic party,
   he'll run against John McCain, but it wont be an easy contest to win.
* I usually use the pick whenever I play the guitar,
   or I just use my fingers.
* Even though he prefers to eat with a fork, he chooses to use chopsticks
   in Chinese restaurants ; however, they aren't easy to use.
